Our season typically runs from mid December to mid March. It all depends on Mother Nature and the snow gods. Our snowmobile rentals are for the National Forest only and not to be used in Yellowstone National Park.
How Does It Work?
In addition to our amazing snowmobile rentals, we offer many great pairings to go along with it. You’ll have the option of selecting our complete clothing package that includes a lined snowmobile suit, insulated boots, gloves, and a helmet with a face shield. As an added bonus, all drivers will receive hand and thumb warmers. If you plan on using your snowmobile for an extended period of time, we offer overnight rentals when scheduled for consecutive days. You’ll always feel secure thanks to the collision protection that’s offered with our snowmobile rentals for drivers over 21. If you’re still learning your way around the area, consider booking a guided trip into the surrounding national forests to really enjoy the full experience.
There’s some other basic information to keep in mind as well. We provide your first tank of gas for each snowmobile rental and oil for the duration of you rental. Double riding is not advised if the total combined weight exceeds 400 pounds. If you wish, you can try out a different model for each day that you rent to help you pick the one that’s right for you. Rental Details:
- Any damage incurred to a snowmobile while in your possession is the responsibility of the operator and/or renter of that snowmobile regardless of fault.
- Purchasing Collision Protection can limit your financial responsibility to the deductible amount for that model. Unauthorized use will void any Collision Protection.
- Collision Protection may not be available during beginning/end of season and/or low snow years.
- Mountain snowmobiles are not intended for long distance trail riding. Track damage may occur due to excessive speed on the trails and you may be held responsible.
- Collision protection is not available to operators under the age of 21.
- Rates effective July 2024 and are subject to change without notice.
- We will provide oil for the duration of the rental.
- All drivers must have a valid drivers license in their possession, and be at least 16 years of age.
- Overnight rentals available when rented for consecutive days.
- Double riding is only allowed on models designed for double riding.
- For your comfort and safety, we advise NO double riding if combined weight exceeds 400 pounds.
- Cargo sleds are available at $40.00 per day.
- Guides are available for excursions into the National Forest surrounding West Yellowstone for trail or backcountry excursions. Guide fees are $400.00 per day. Additional guide is $300.00 for groups that require more than one guide. Maximum group size per guide is 8 for trail rides and 6 for backcountry trips. An additional $20.00 National Forest Usage Fee per snowmobile will be applied. Avalanche packs are not included, but are available for rent or purchase. Reservations are highly recommended. Please call for guide availability.
- The complete clothing package is $35.00 per day per person. It includes boots, FXR one piece snowmobile suit, helmet with shield and gloves. Upgraded full faced helmets available for $10 extra.
- A 4% resort tax will be added to all amounts including collision protection and guide service. A 8% accommodation tax will be added to the lodging portion of package rates in addition to the resort tax.
- A 50% deposit will be required to secure ALL reservations. Deposit is due at the time of making the reservation.
- 75% of the deposit will be retained if cancellation is made less than fourteen (14) days prior to arrival. All no-shows will be charged in full. All third-party cancellation policies will be applied.
- We offer group and multi-day discounts. Call for details, may not be available during peak periods, and discounts do not apply to package rates and guide fees.
